Grant Wishes While You Skate
Southlands' has teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado! The goal is to grant FOUR wishes of children with a life threatening medical condition in our community. Each time you purchase admission to the ice skating rink or visit Santa Claus, in the clock tower along Main Street, you help Southlands reach the goal! To learn more about Make-A-Wish click here.

Earning for Learning at the Pond
Earn 1,000 POINTS when you skate! Simply print off an Earning 4 Learning skating pass and have it stamped for each ice skating admission purchased. Once the card is full, turn it in at your school, in the receipt box in the offices behind Pac Sun on East Commons Avenue or bring it to the Management Office.

Private Party Rentals
The Pond is available for private parties, birthday parties and company gatherings December 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009.

Group Rates:

• For groups of 20 or more each person in the party will receive $1 off the general admission skate rental is included.
• For groups of 40 or more each person in the party will receive $2 off the general admission skate rental is included.
• For groups larger than 75 each person in the party will receive $3 off the general admission skate rental is included.

Birthday Parties at The Pond
Several retailers and restaurants are ready to make your birthday party a day to remember! Be sure to contact Karen Gilkey at 303-627-5000 to schedule your birthday party of 10 or more party goers. Then plan the rest of the celebration at Maggie Moo's Ice Cream, Color Me Mine, Old Chicago or Aspen Alley Café. These retailers and restaurants are just a few that are available to host your birthday guests for lunch or dinner, open presents before or after ice skating and make it a great time for everyone. Contact the store manager of your chosen location to schedule your party today.

Private Party Rental Fees
Rental fees do not apply should your group skate during normal rink hours along with the public. If your group would like to hold a private event, the fee is $250 per hour before normal rink hours, $500 per hour from Noon to 4:00 p.m. and $750 per hour from 4:00 p.m. to close. Please contact us at 303-627-5000 for more information or to book your event.

Please note: If you are planning a birthday party and are willing to skate with the public there is no booking fee. Parties should be scheduled if you have a group of 10 or more in your party.

Restaurants
All of the restaurants at Southlands will be happy to cater your event. Feel free to contact them prior to your event so that they can fulfill your request. Please check the directory for a full list of restaurants at Southlands.

Photography
Photography for personal use which is not intended for resale is permitted around and inside the ice skating rink. Please contact the Southlands Management Office should you have other photography requests at 303-627-5000.

Weather
Weather is generally not a factor for the ice rink. You are welcome to bring your winter gear, helmets and padding as they are not available for rent. Colorado is famous for unpredictable weather, snow, sleet, ice, hail and blizzards. Should the ice rink close due to weather conditions, announcements will be made on this web site and by on-site staff. Scheduled parties will be rescheduled due to closures only.

Restrooms
Southlands' provides two public restroom locations, The Family Bathroom across from the Town Square behind Sunglass Hut and a second behind The Make Up Store at the Fire pit.

ATMs
ATMs at Southlands are located in Town Center, behind the Clock Tower, Fitzsimons Credit Union and Wells Fargo.

Parking
Parking is available throughout Southlands as well as behind Kerasotes Southlands Stadium 16 Theater on the North end of the Center East of Best Buy on East Orchard Road.

General Rules and Restrictions
For your safety and the safety of others, customers and their possessions are subject to inspection as condition of attendance. Southlands reserves the right to declare the final decision on items brought into the ice rink.

Local School Performance Inquiries
If you represent a high school, junior high, elementary school or various dance groups and they are interested performing at Southlands, please fill out the performance request form for the 2008 holiday season. Please print off and follow the submission instructions on the form to be considered for our holiday entertainment programs.

Lost & Found
Items found during an event are taken to the Security Office located above Pac Sun on E. Commons Avenue in Suite 255. Contact security at 303-627-5400 to find or report missing items.
